All journalists and TV crews from around the globe got their own cameras, recording the entire opening ceremony for their TV audience, for example, U.S NBC were doing their own cameras both inside and outside the Bird Nest Stadium, many countries were also doing their own cameras, American TV audience saw lots of imposing fireworks through NBC's own cameras, not China's.

Learn the art of taking ownership for your own problems and fakery. Don't act out like a child by deflecting attention away from your own misdeeds. It would make you a better person to accept your shortcomings. By deflecting it only shows that you want to continue the fakery and pretend nothing has happened...it exposes your insecurity. When you embrace your shortcomings you become a more REAL person and it diffuses the ridicule. That's part of the fun about china - we know how insecure you are.
