Obama administration advises new French president: For sake of world economy, dont raise taxes
Posted by admin / Under French Language
Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes ***** President Obama was quick to invite Frances Socialist president-elect to Washington for a visit, but the White House also had some rather perplexing advice for Francois Hollande: President Obamas spokesman warned the new socialist president-elect of France not to implement his campaign agenda of ending austerity measures, indicating that such a reversal could damage the world economy. A balanced approach . . . Both fiscal consolidation and efforts to boost the recovery is the right approach for Europe, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters today. Thats an approach that he thinks...

French Muslims Get Call to Vote for President

a special new effort to mobilize French Muslims to speak up at the ballot box in Sunday's presidential race amid a surge of Islam-bashing among the French right. Imams and Islamic associations are calling on Muslims ... French Muslims have been pounded with blame throughout the campaign for what they eat (halal meat), how they pray (in the street), and for allegedly using their growing numbers to supplant France's civilization with their own. The massacre of Jewish schoolchildren and French paratroopers in March by an alleged Islamic extremist put Muslims in the spotlight anew and fed far-right fear mongering.

French village Pince to hand out chickens to cut waste
Posted by admin / Under French Language
French village has proposed giving two chickens to each household in order to cut down on organic waste. Officials in the village of Pince in north-western France say the chickens should each consume 150kg (330lb) of rubbish per year. It is hoped that as well as reducing waste, the chickens will help families save money by providing eggs. Those who express an interest will receive their chickens in September, officials say. "To begin with it was a joke, but then we realised it was a very good idea," mayor of Pince Lydie Pasteau told France 3 TV. "It will also...

French Farce, Jewish Tragedy
Posted by admin / Under French Language
Oh no, whatever can we do? It wasnt three neo-Nazis who had been expelled from the army for their extremist politics who killed people in France; it was actually yet another Muslim terrorist, one who wanted to kill people, especially Jewish children, in the name of his religion of peace. This is a problem for the consensus media, because they were determined to blame the slaughter on anyone other than Muslims. But no, the truth came out. The man who filmed himself shooting little children to death, and who grabbed a child by the hair as she ran, held a...

A gunman suspected of killing seven people in the name of al-Qaeda, including three children at a Jewish school, has been arrested by police after an hours-long siege in southwestern France. About 300 police, some in bullet-proof body armor, had earlier cordoned off an area surrounding a four-storey house in a leafy suburb of the city of Toulouse where the 24-year-old Muslim man, identified as Mohamed Merah, was holed up on the ground floor. Merah had been arrested for bomb making in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar in 2007 but escaped months later in a Taliban prison break, the...

Posted by admin / Under French Language
The despicable 'Israel apartheid week' will be taking place on many college campuses in the US and Europe this week, but one French university - Paris Sorbonne No. 8 - will be closed and its gates locked for two days so as to prevent the event from taking place. Israel Radio is reporting that the Sorbonne's President has forbidden Israel apartheid week from taking place on its campus, and that prohibition has the backing of the French courts. However, the pro-'Palestinian' 'activists' have said that they will hold the event by force. As a result, the university's President has ordered...

Eyelift for John Kerry?

Theres something about Kerry. The 5-term Democratic senator and 2004 Democratic presidential candidate seems to be looking younger by the day. A photo from the 2008 Democratic National Convention shows his face is looking pretty haggard, with bags under his eyes that are headed for Pope Benedict XVI level: Then, last month, he showed up at the White House with two black eyes and a swollen nose. The party line was a hockey puck broke his nose. From CBS: "Senator John Kerry surprised a few people at the Boston Bruins Stanley Cup ceremony at the White House Monday afternoon. The...
